May 9th is Mother's Day, so that day is out for sure. I would like to do this May 2nd meet at 10a.m. at Petro Travel Plaza on I-90 and leave for the winery cruise around 10:30. From there we will head out for a 25 mile cruise through the WI river valley area, ending up at Wollersheim. After the tasting we will be heading back towards the river then stop for late lunch at either the Sunset Harbor Bar and Grill, or one of the other fine places on the lake shore. From there it's 15 minutes back to the highways for the trip home. In the mean time I will cruise the area looking for the best paved roads. Hope this meets with everyone's approval.

I called Wollersheim and they have 45 minute tours, and the tasting follows the tours. For those who don't want the tour there is a wine garden for relaxing, enjoying the weather, and tasting wine. If we have 15 or more people going I can arrange a private tour/tasting just for our group. The cost is $3.50 per person for the tour and tasting. Right now I need to know who is in, and whether they will go on the tour, tasting, or both?

You know we like to cater to the +1's of the group, so here is our latest thought. We would like to host a spring cruise in early May. Starting at Petro Travel Plaza outside Portage on I-90 we would wind through the Baraboo Bluff region and head down to Wollersheim Winery for a tour of the grounds and wine tasting. Then back on the roads to a local place for late lunch. Some of the roads will be familiar to those who went on the Devil's Lake cruise. Let me know what you guys think, or if you have any suggestions.
